Insulation Spacer allows you to create a non-contact insulation system by creating a unified andconsistent air gap between the insulation and process pipe.The principle of this is to help mitigatethe risk Corrosion
Under Insulation (CUI) by creating an air gap so that any water or moisture ingress is not held in direct contact with the process pipe by the insulation. Made from a flameresistant,non-combustible Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) the Insulation Spacer works with most types of insulation and in various applications.

It can also be used to secure cables beneath the insulation for monitoring moisture or leak under the insulation

The system is based on the properties of electrical transmission in insulation, which varies according to its degree of humidity.Depending on the moisture content of the Insulation materical, the electrical resistance between the heat-carrying steel tube and the monitoring wire decreases.
Reflectometry analysis allows for the localization of humidity.
